Federal Work Study while classes offered remotely

As a participant in the Federal Work Study (FWS) program, Wake Forest has received guidance from the Department of Education that while classes are being offered remotely, the University may continue to pay students based on scheduled hours previously worked during the Spring 2020 semester. Beginning March 21, supervisors will enter time the student’s behalf for the duration of the spring semester that classes are offered remotely. Students will continue to be paid on the same pay schedule.

If there is work that can be done remotely, supervisors will work with students to determine how they can participate remotely. If not, we encourage students to engage in self-paced, professional development modules that can enhance your skills and abilities on the job. We suggest investigating LinkedIn Learning resources.
