Students who receive VA Education Benefits are encouraged to apply for need-based aid.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has approved Wake Forest to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program of the Post Post-9/11 GI Bill® beginning with the fall 2019 semester for undergraduate students. For each academic year, eligible undergraduates may receive up to $5000 of Yellow Ribbon Program funding from the VA, and up to $5,000 of Yellow Ribbon Match funding from Wake Forest. Recipients of the VA’s Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship are not eligible for any Yellow Ribbon funding.
Wake Forest University does not participate in the US Department of Defense (DoD) federal Tuition Assistance (TA) program.
Transfer Post Post-9/11 GI Bill® to spouse and dependents: Transfer of VA Benefits
Students: The VA provides education benefit application submission.
Students should provide a copy of their VA “Certificate of Eligibility” letter to the Office of Student Financial Aid (firstname.lastname@example.org, fax 336.758.4924) as soon as possible.
